What We Do

The Squeaks Foundation is a U.K. registered charity founded in 2017 with the mission to give out scholarships for female students attending University in the Khyber Pakthunkhwa region of Pakistan. Our scholars receive funding for housing and university fees on a need-basis.

Close to 100% of our proceeds are used to finance our scholars. Our trustees work on a pro-bono basis and we have minimal costs associated with banking and IT systems.

We are registered with the U.K. charity commission with charity number 1171837. Our financial reports are made public on our website and also submitted for annual review with the U.K. charity commission.

We receive the majority of our funds from our trustees, friends and family and, since 2018, we have counted on the anchoring support of MFS Investment management, one of the oldest financial asset management companies in the world.

We are currently sponsoring over 100 students at Khyber Girls Medical College in Peshawar across different years of their Medical degrees. Our scholars have consistently been placed top of the KPK’s yearly medical examinations.

Over time, we aim to expand to other reputable higher education institutions in Pakistan, but not before we build a track record of operational excellence, transparency and trust among our stakeholders.
